In April, 2025, a real estate limited partnership (the “LP”) completed a restructuring and a US$8.2 million equity financing. The LP amended the terms of its limited partnership agreement including the waterfall provisions to create a new class of limited partnership units. Following the amendment of the limited partnership agreement, the LP issued the new units to its limited partners to raise funds for its real estate business.
